A gorgeous area located here in Virginia called Rock Castle Creek which is located just below the Blue Ridge Parkway and is part of the lower Rock Castle Gorge. This has to be my all time favorite place to capture landscapes, water and just enjoy the peace and quite along with the sound of the stream flowing by.
I did use effects and textures for this piece so it has the look of a painting. This will add beauty to any room in your home, office or waiting rooms.
Elevation: 1721 ft. The Lower Rock Castle Creek Trail forms a 4.5-mile leg of the 11-mile loop called Rock Castle Gorge Trail (see "Rocky Knob/Rock Castle Gorge"). This trail follows a gated fire road alongside Rock Castle Creek. The term "Rock Castle" comes from the hexagonal shape of quartzite crystals found in the hollows, resembling castle towers.
