Description
A beautiful pink Magnolia bloom as a humming bird sits on a limb. I have used textures and effects that give the photo a painterly look. Magnolia soulangeana (saucer magnolia) is a hybrid plant in the genus Magnolia and family Magnoliaceae. It is a deciduous tree with large, early-blooming flowers in various shades of white, pink, and purple. It is one of the most commonly used magnolias in horticulture, being widely planted in the British Isles, especially in the south of England; and in the United States, especially the east and west coasts. The ruby-throated hummingbird (Archilochus colubris) is a species of hummingbird.
As with all hummingbirds, this species belongs to the family Trochilidae and is currently included in the order Apodiformes. This species is the most common type of hummingbird that regularly nests east of the Mississippi River in North America, normally in the east-central and middle and lower East Coast areas.
